I spend loads of mornings in the car during the year. I've got about an hour home from work, and I do mostly night shifts. So when everybody else is in a hurry to get to work, I've got all the time in the world.
I love those mornings.
I literally breathe magic during that hour. Because there's no time of the day that's so alive than early mornings. And nature puts on a different show every time! Sometimes it's so overwhelming that I have to park my car and just sit there for awhile. Watch everything. These mornings are one of the biggest sources of inspiration to me. Because it's so pure that you can't even describe it properly. No matter how big the words you use are.
These mornings are important because they fill me with energy. They are a part of all the little things that make me carry on, no matter what.
This morning were one of those extra special ones. The temperature fell during the night, which made the rime cover the ground. It looked like fairydust all over the place! I simply had to stop for awhile, take it all in. Luckily I had my camera with me! All the little birds have their own orchestra now during the spring too, they sing like crazy - which is why it's not always enough to just stop the car - I have to get out of it to get the whole experience.
