I've been interested in photography for as long as I can remember. I wanted to shoot digital photos "before it was cool", during the time when digital compact cameras were really expensive. Especially for a kid that wasn't even 10 years old. I had the luxury to borrow a digital camera from my moms friend a couple of times, but that only made me more determined to get my own camera!
My first camera were a Nikon Coolpix L2, but before I could afford to buy it I brought laptop and webcam to the STABLE to take photos of the horses. I were really into that whole digital-thing, haha! Never give up!
After a couple of years I updated to a Nikon D40x. My old camera got retired and forgotten, until I saw that a friends little sister had a growing interest in photography - so I gave it to her as a christmas gift. My D40x were just the beginning of many Nikon-cameras. (Nikon is the deal, obviously). I were 14 or 15 years old when I got my Nikon D90. So happy! I'm surprised that camera is still alive, because it's been through A LOT. Last summer it was time for it to retire though, and my new star is a Nikon D810. An amazing camera! The D90 is still going strong, I bring it as a backstage-camera sometimes.
I'm somewhat of a collector when it comes to cameras, except these beauties I also got adventure cameras (Nikon AW100 and a GoPro-camera), and of course a videocamera (Canon. Yes, really. Canon!!!). Photography is my thing, and cameras is a necessity when it comes to photography.
Nikon and I found each other early. It was ment to be ♥
